Feltham School Of Arts
Aswell as hospitals and houses i decieded to look in to deprived educations and found an abandoned burnt out arts collage. Trying to get premission to enter this building was impossible as i could'nt find out was it was called or any history of the building. After visiting a few times i found some paperwork round the side of the building with the name of the school 'Feltham School Of Arts'. It turnt out to be a council property, i then started my mission of getting premission from Hounslow Council. When i entred the Arts School it didn't apper to have very much left after the fire, after finding my way around i discovered another side to the building that had'nt been touched by the fire and still had some equipment left such as cameras, books and desks. The building had'nt been treated well since the fire, it was trashed, covered in graffiti and full of beer cans.
I decided to minipulate all of my photos on photoshop to make them black and white because it took the life out of the photograph, i thought this was important because it added to the idea of deprived societies. I like all four of theses images because they have been left as they was before the fire, with desks still in place with books still open etc.
